Washington, DC – Washington Convention Center – AUSA Family Forum IV”9 backpackers” present.  Kat (coming in from Texas electronically), Evan, Kiara, Miles, Jeralexia, Jordan, Cheyenne, Jessica, Hannah and Ms. D.

Each of the 9 were asked to speak to a room filled with Senior Spouses, Leadership from all branches of government, staffers representing Congressional offices and in some instances their parents.  The music video closed the session bringing in Daniel Jones, the US Army Reserve youth who rapped and danced his way through combat to a display of the effects of PTSD.  Click on this video to see first hand the youth as they shared their experiences during their Washington, DC trip to the Pentagon, The White House, The Vietnam Veterans Memorial and then to AUSA.
