July 4th is ahead.  As we celebrate this special day, we recognize our iconic United States Flag that is a beautiful reminder of our great nation.

The photo here is of the USSRalphJohnson – as he was docked at the Columbus Street Harbor here in Charleston, SC.  The namesake of this ship was from Charleston, and a Vietnam War hero, and awarded the Medal of Honor for his bravery under fire.  A group of backpackers attended the day this ship was docked in Charleston, SC and we wish to now honor and recognize the entire crew and thank them for their protection of our freedoms and service as they sail the oceans!
