Honoring Dr. Conway Saylor, Director of the Krause Center, THE CITADEL, Charleston, SC.  She is officially retiring.  We will miss her, and so enjoyed our six years working with her, the team she assembled and meeting the CADETS.  We were supported in our afterschool, and summer camps, and from a Cadet who built cars, to others who knew all about photography, we at A Backpack Journalist – appreciated every minute spent.  Our meetings with Dr. Saylor and her team, educational and will be missed as she retires.

Most certain, retired Dr Saylor will give a new definition for “being retired”.
